- Oat Milk has moisturizing and nourishing properties. The starch found in oats, Beta-glucan, acts as a hydrating ingredient and helps restore your hair. The phenols found in oats reduce inflammation and help with itch, making it the perfect ingredient for a dandruff and psoriasis shampoo. Oat milks nourishing properties combat the appearance of frizz and smooth out split ends. Oatmilk is rich in vitamin D, which is key for hair growth.
- Vegetable glycerin (for hair) is know to moisturize and prevent breakage. It helps draw moisturize to your hair.
- Coconut oil is known for its antioxidant properties and as such it has been used to treat various skin ailments such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. Coconut oil can help to restore the skin’s natural PH levels thus leaving your skin feeling silky and smooth. Coconut oil also has antimicrobial properties that help to treat skin infections including acne, cellulite, folliculitis, and athlete's foot that are caused by bacteria or fungi.
- Cocoa butter contains a high amount of fatty acids, which help to hydrate your skin. The fat in cocoa butter creates a protective barrier that holds in moisture and prevents your skin from drying. The rich moisture content and protective oil-based nature of cocoa butter eases itching and allows the skin to heal after a flare-up from eczema, dermatitis or other skin conditions. One common use of cocoa butter is to smooth scars, wrinkles, and other marks on the skin.
- Hemp Seed Oil contains omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. The nutrients are helpful in treating skin conditions like atopic dermatitis. Hemp seed oil rejuvenates and nourishes tight or dry skin. It prevents flakiness and itchiness. It works to control your skin's natural oil production to moisturize without clogging pores. Hemp seed oil restores the skin barrier and helps it retain moisture, which results in skin that looks healthy, hydrated and supple. It also has anti-aging properties. It contains linoleic and oleic acids that can’t be produced by the body but are great for reducing fine lines and wrinkles as well as preventing signs of aging from developing.
- Candelilla Wax is a natural wax derived from the leaves of a Candelilla plant grown in Mexico. Candelilla Wax contains Vitamin A, which helps speed up healing and support the skin’s immune system and it promotes natural moisturizing. It acts as a barrier to seal in moisture and protect your skin from further damage.
- Argan oil also known as moroccan oil is made from kernels from the argan tree. This oil has high contents of antioxidants, fatty acids, and vitamin E. Argan oil fights off dandruff & frizz, protects your hair from damage, and adds shine to dull, lifeless hair.
- Leucidal SF Preservative is made from fermented radish roots. It contains antimicrobial peptides. These peptides provide moisture to your skin.
